Fox Distributing is the sponser of many events held in its marketing area. Below is a list of just a few.

• Alive After 5 Summer Concert Series (Uptown Shelby)
  
  • June 3, 2010 — Fantastic Shakers, a favorite of the classic Beach bands in the region and a long history of getting Carolinians to their feet.
  • June 17, 2010 — The rich soulful voice of Linda Rodney, performing with her band under the name Chocolate Thunder. Ms Rodney delivers a powerful sound that may be the Blues, but is bright and rousing.
  • July 1, 2010 — Wolf Creek, an act from Bristol TN/VA that features traditional sounds of Country and Blue Grass.
  • July 15, 2010 — Local bands with a Blues Night that features Contagious Blues and Amissville from 5-9 p.m.
  • August 5, 2010 — A rare appearance by Mother’s Finest, the classic Funk/Rock icons from the late 70s who can still stir up a crowd in no time flat.
  • August 19, 2010 — Head back for the tropics and beaches with Caribbean Cowboys.
